Hello! My name is Ian Spangler. I am a 3rd year Architecture Student at Cal Poly SLO, a 3D Draftsman and Intern at Holdren+Lietzke Architecture, an independent designer, and the founder of Treeverb Audio. I am originally from Monterey CA, where I spent the entirety of my childhood with my wonderful family. When not working or studying, I love to hike, surf, and camp outdoors. If I’m not outdoors I love to read, listen to podcasts, cook meals, serve at my local church, and study maps. On top of my coursework, I have had the pleasure of working remotely as an Intern and 3D draftsman at Holdren+Lietzke Architecture, and independently under the moniker Ian Spangler Design – aka ISD. As a side project, I became the founder of Treeverb Audio LLC for which I designed passive phone speakers as iPhone accessories. I am a born creative and strategic problem solver with a hunger to find elegant and clever solutions, as I believe that creativity born at the intersection of diverse knowledge sets, those of science, art, economics, and culture, will foster the innovation that will solve the challenges of our time. My work has been built on that philosophy from day 1.
